Judy Pattinson of Royal Lepage in Pembroke, ON took the time to learn what we wanted, did not want to just run around trying to sell houses. She provided reasonable, logical counsel and is a lady who really wants to find the right house for you. Real estate sales is a multi-generational career within her family so she is good at it. We asked her on a Thursday to see more than 13 houses and she was able to get us into about 8 of the 13 all at the same time on that Saturday. Not only did she seem to know what she was doing, but seeing that we were first time home buyers, she went above and beyond just the aesthetic appeal of houses and the whole "look what you could turn this house into" sales pitch. She took it slow and detailed with us and we appreciated it very much, doing most of the heavy lifting that an agent should be doing and taking it onto her own back to be informative and never rushing her voice, her sale, the paperwork, showings, etc; This is quite rare for sales agents from what I have personally experienced and heard. She also kept us from seeing dumps that looked great on the outside according to the pictures on realtor.ca but were actually falling apart student-housing on the inside. Thank you Judy!
